August Activities

Coming up with Colchester Boiler Room Community....

Sunday 5 August Messy Church (for children and families), Circus Square  2pm - 3.30pm

Saturday 11 August Sports Day with Abbeyfield Community Project 2pm - 5pm Abbey Field

Friday 17 August 8pm - 12midnight  Prayer for Muslim People at 170 Berechurch Road

Wednesday 3pm allotment and prayer.  Otherwise, we're having break from scheduled prayer and activities during August

Weekly meetings in April

This Saturday 14 April is our monthly prayer room night. Tea together from 5pm at 170 Berechurch Road. Then take a slot in the prayer room, open until midnight.
There's no Sunday meeting on Sunday 15 April.
God Story, prayer and worship, Kid's God Story and Sunday lunch together on Sunday 22 April from 12noon at 170 Berechurch Road.
No Sunday meeting on Sunday 29 April.
Monday noon prayer, Thursday 1pm prayer and Wednesday 6.30am prayer continue every week.

Easter update

Here's some times to connect with Colchester Boiler Room Community;
Messy Church Good Friday 2pm for children and families. Easter story, egg hunt, prayer and more! at 170 Berechurch Road.
Passover meal and Passion of the Christ film, Good Friday from 7pm at 170 Berechurch Road.
Easter Day beach trip and brunch. Meet 10am at Jim and Liz's house, West Mersea. Lifts from 170 Berechurch Road at 9.30am.
Next Prayer Room Saturday 14 April, with tea from 5pm.....

Changes to prayer and meeting rhythm over the next couple of weeks

Due to people being away;

There's no Monday prayer for the nations until Monday 26 March.

No Thursday prayer on 15 March. Thursday prayer is now at 1pm from 22 March onwards.

There is Boiler Room meal at 170 Berechurch Road at noon on Sunday 11 March.

On Sunday 18 March there is lunch together at Antoinette's.

The next Saturday prayer room is Sat 24 March.

Our next time together is Messy Church on Sunday 6 November, 2pm - 3.30pm for children and families.

Thanks for Messy Church, and no daily prayer on Thursday at 170 Berechurch Road

Thanks to everyone who helped and joined in with Messy Church on Sunday. It was great to a have large team of helpers, giving a warm welcome to the 17 neighbours who came. hurray!





There's no midday prayer at 170 Berechurch Road on Thursday. But there is God Story, prayer and Sunday lunch on Sunday.

Daily Prayer at Quadriga Tuesday 20 September

Our noon prayer is prayer walking and delievering invitations on Quadriga tomorrow. We're meeting at 12.30pm at Salisbury Avenue.

So no noon prayer at 170 Berechurch Road tomorrow.

New times in the Colchester Boiler Room Community rhythm of prayer

We're excited to report two new prayer times as part of our rhythm of prayer;

One is prayer walking in the Abbey Field neighbourhoods at 12noon on Tuesdays. Contact Rich on mail@colchesterboilerroom.org.uk for meeting places.

Another is the sex workers and human trafficking group praying regularly in neighbourhoods around Colchester. Contact Katy on mail@colchesterboilerroom.org.uk for more info on this prayer time and action group.

In order to make time and energy for these new times, the noon prayer at 170 Berechurch Road is now stopped on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Prayer Room for the needs of people on the margins 28 May



We're hosting a prayer room for the needs of people on the margins on Saturday 28 May 12noon - 12midnight.






There'll be inspiration to pray for the needs of homeless people and ex-prisoners, among others. There'll be individual prayer slots and some group prayer times.

On Easter Sunday, we're meeting at 12noon for a celebration brunch.

Answered prayer and more to pray for


Thanks to those who have prayed with me for the new junior football activity.

This started well on Wednesday with 5 adult helpers. Thank you, Father God for providing.
Let's continue to pray for Libya, and God's mercy to avert bloodshed there. Also for good leaders for the future of that nation. People from Colchester Boiler Room Community meet every Monday at noon at 170 Berechurch Road to pray for the nations around the world.
