To start 2011, we're out about praying in each others homes. So there's no Boiler Room Meal at 170 Berechurch Road on Sunday 2 January.
Midday prayer starts again from Tuesday 4 January.
A Christ centred community that aims to be true to Jesus, kind to people and takes the Gospel to the nations. We practice a rhythm of prayer, creativity, mercy and justice, mission, learning and hospitality. We are part of the church in Colchester, and part of the 24-7 Prayer movement.

Red Light Run visit
We've just has visit from 3 amazing guys making an epic run from Amsterdam to London.

Helping at Bethany Place
I'm planning to help repair and maintain Bethany Place on Saturday 16 October in the afternoon. It's a house giving accomodation for homeless young people.

God Story during October and November
We like to learn more about God from His story in the Bible.
At the moment we're following the story of God and people as told in the book of Acts.
Here's the reading plan;
17 October Persecution and sending out. Acts 5 - 8.
24 October Paul's conversion and Peter's vision. Acts 9 - 11.
7 November Paul's mission. Acts 12 - 20.
28 November Paul's journey to Rome. Acts 21 - 28.

Opportunity to join in with Colchester Food Bank 18 September
Colchester Food Bank is group that collects donated food, compliles food boxes, and distributes the food boxes to people in need. It supported by people from several churches.
Food Bank have a collection on Saturday 18 September at Asda supermarket. They have have asked for help giving out request vouchers to shoppers and collecting the donated goods.
If you'd like to help, please contact Brian Ford 01206 823877. They particularly need help 12noon - 2pm, and at the end of the day at 4pm.

Michael from Wimpole Road Methodist Church has written to say thanks for bringing the prayer tent to the New Town Community Celebration.
They also raised £232 for Christian Aid agricultural development project in Burkina Faso.

Saturday 15 May African afternoon for Ugandan children
On Saturday 15 May 2pm - 6pm there will be an African afternoon at Cardinal Bourne Hall, Priory Street, Colchester.
There promises to be music, food and crafts for sale. Come along and join in! The funds raised will go to the A-Z Childrens Charity in Uganda.
Sara is organising the fundraiser. She will be visiting the Charity in Uganda later in 2010.

From Monday 1 February noon prayer is at 170 Berechurch Road every Sunday - Thursday.
